MFBIC Intellectual Property Guidelines

• By uploading your idea to the MFBIC site, you grant The Eric C. Douglas Centre, SIFE Royal Roads and their partners the non-exclusive world rights in all languages and in all media, to use or to publish the idea in any book, other printed materials, videotapes or other medium and to use the materials in future editions thereof and derivative products.
• Irrespective of the composition of a team or group, one private person will; be the official applicant, the sole owner of the intellectual copyright.
• The person submitting shall have all the necessary permissions to use a third party’s intellectual property rights. Upon the request of the EDC and SIFE Royal Roads, the person submitting shall be able to produce a declaration by the owner that allows the person submitting the use of these rights.
• Person submitting shall indemnify the EDC and SIFE Royal Roads against any third-party cause of action based on the claim that ideas, names and/or knowledge used by the person submitting infringe an intellectual property right.
